Social Good Impact equips social entrepreneurs and change makers with the tools to change the world.
If you want to start a social enterprise, grow a conscious company, and find like-minded people who "get it" - you've found the right place.
Hi, I'm Beth!
I've worked in the nonprofit sector in Minnesota for the last 15 years, 10+ of those years in social enterprises. Starting at Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota in 2006, I became obsessed with the idea of using business to solve social issues. While getting my MBA, I wrote feasibility studies and business plans for new earned income ideas and launched the Social Enterprise Alliance - Twin Cities chapter with a team of amazing colleagues.
I led a social enterprise called CityKid Java for 3 years as Director of Operations/General Manager and in 2015, founded a new social enterprise, BAM Essentials.
I've worked as a consultant with clients to create strategic plans, presentation documents, full business plans and feasibility studies.
I've also done some other awesome stuff, speaking and trainings:
Spoken to classes at Hamline University, Macalester College, Augsburg College, and the University of Minnesota
Spoken at the Social Enterprise Alliance Summit conference in Minneapolis, Nashville and Denver
Lead trainings for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, Nonprofits Assistance Fund, Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration, HandsOn Twin Cities, Corporate Volunteerism Council - Twin Cities, Academy of Women's Empowerment
Awarded Community Impact Award - Social Entrepreneurship from Minnesota Business Magazine, on behalf of Urban Ventures and CityKid Java
Recognized as one of American Express's 50 Under 40 and one of Minnesota Business Magazine's Young Entrepreneurs
Recognized in REDF's inaugural Accelerator cohort (2016)
OK - enough about me. Let's hear from you!
